High-quality, talented and experienced competition pony, suitable for a competitive junior rider or a smaller adult looking for a pony with both experience and future potential.
He has competed successfully with riders aged 11–15, as well as with adult riders. Toivo started his competition career already at the age of four with an 11-year-old rider, giving him extensive experience of working with young riders from an early age.
For the past couple of years, Toivo has been in the care of 14–15-year-old junior riders, with active and goal-oriented training under close adult and professional supervision.
He has been exceptionally well cared for, with a strong focus on his overall wellbeing. Regular bodywork, high-quality training and a carefully planned exercise programme have been an important part of his daily routine. He is currently in excellent condition and fit for both competition and everyday work.
With his most recent junior rider, Toivo has been particularly valuable as a schoolmaster and competition partner. The rider was only at the beginning of her competition career before starting with Toivo, and together they have progressed to competing successfully at 80–90 cm.
Toivo has given his young rider valuable experience in competitions, training and goal-oriented riding, while being a reliable and trustworthy partner throughout her development.
Toivo has an impressive competition record, including:
2025 Best New Forest Competition Pony – 1st
2025 Best New Forest Young Competition Pony – 1st

Toivo has travelled and competed extensively throughout Finland, including at PowerPark.
And he is exceptionally easy to travel with. He is calm and straightforward at competition venues and during long journeys.
A very versatile pony
Toivo is experienced and confident in a wide range of activities:
Hacked both alone and in company
Swimming
Driving
Skiing behind the horse
Cross-country and natural obstacles
Extensive competition and travelling experience
He is easy to load and travels well both alone and with other horses.
He has been turned out alone, in pairs and in a group and is uncomplicated to keep despite being a stallion. He has also spent time on pasture without issues.
Farrier work, washing and other everyday handling are easy. Toivo is accustomed to different stable environments and does not require special arrangements. He has lived in a pasture-based setup, outdoor stall and traditional stable.
He can be kept behind electric fencing or wooden fencing, and can have a mare in the neighbouring stall without problems.
Known to be healthy, with a well-known history. Purchased directly from his breeder in 2022.
Toivo is more calm and steady than hot or sharp when ridden. He is cooperative, listens to his rider and is willing to work.
He has good-quality gaits and particularly good jumping ability and scope.
In everyday life he is an exceptionally kind and pleasant pony who is easy to handle. However, he is still a young pony and a stallion, which should be taken into consideration when handling and riding him. Clear boundaries, consistency and experienced adult support are important, particularly with a young rider.
Toivo is curious and playful by nature and enjoys different activities and enrichment even in the paddock. He likes to participate in shared activities and has a fun personality with plenty of character and a lovely spark in his eye.

Dam: Sprattsdown All That Jazz
Jazz comes from the long-established forest-bred maternal line of Sprattsdown Stud. The stud's ponies are known for their jumping ability and bravery over cross-country fences.
The only reason for selling this special pony is the owner's current lack of time.
Toivo has been in a lease/part-loan arrangement, and his current riders would happily have continued with him. The sale is therefore not due to any problem with the pony. The goal is to find Toivo a permanent, loving home where there is enough time and motivation to continue his active and goal-oriented career.
