We are looking for a new team member to join our private sport and training yard. We work with high-quality sport and young horses and are looking for a reliable, responsible and experienced horse person who enjoys working with horses on a daily basis and would like to become a long-term part of our team. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Daily care and management of our horses • Feeding, mucking out and general stable duties • Grooming and carefully preparing the horses • Tacking up and untacking • Lunging and exercising horses • Supporting the daily training routine • Clipping and plaiting • Paddock and turnout duties • Care and maintenance of tack and equipment • Keeping the yard clean and organised • Paying close attention to the horses’ health, behaviour and wellbeing • Preparing horses for training and competitions • If interested and suitably experienced: accompanying us to national and international shows WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING • Experience handling horses, ideally sport horses • A high level of responsibility and reliability • An independent and thorough way of working • A calm and confident approach to horses • Enjoyment of daily stable work • Team spirit and flexibility • Willingness to take responsibility • Competition experience is an advantage, but not essential WHAT WE OFFER • A varied position at a private sport and training yard • Working with high-quality sport and young horses • A friendly yet professional working environment • A motivated team • Independent and responsible work • Fair and performance-based salary • Working hours by arrangement • The opportunity to accompany us to national and international competitions • A long-term position within a professional equestrian environment WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO… doesn’t just look after horses, but truly understands them.
