We are looking for a professional groom / rider (flatwork)
to come to our private yard in the east of Austria (female preferred).
We own 8 show jumping horses on a high level (up to 145/150) and
built our riding stable many years ago.
There is an indoor as well as an outdoor ring, a walker, paddocks and fields
indoor and outdoor boxes, 2 places for cleaning and preparing horses
with solarium and shower,
storage for feeding, garage for repairing, washing machine and dryer for horse stuff,
our lorry, our trailer and tractors.
Next to the stables is a shared living room with a fully equipped kitchen,
a bathroom with washing machine and dryer and storage cases.
Every groom has an own small flat with a mini kitchen and own bathroom.
Our team are 2 grooms / riders, a helper for mucking out (every morning) and
a worker coming one day a week to repair whatever has to be done,
The daily duties of our grooms are feeding, putting horses on the walker or paddock,
grooming, riding, treatments and cleaning as well as to go with us to shows grooming
the horses there / during season we compete 2 -3 times per month.
We offer a full contract and a starting salary of netto Euro 1,500,- (increasing yearly)
and extra money on shows Euro 50,- per day.
Concerning ourselves - we are working 4 days a week in our big dental office
(very close to our yard), that's why we are looking for an experienced groom -
but we are present some hours every day and the whole weekend.
