Our dear MOJITO ROYAL is looking for a new five star family. He is Welsh mountain but measures approx 125cm.
Pony is in Western Finland (transportation is not a problem)
Dressage pony with capital D, great moving and talented with enough quality to go a long way with new little rider. Could do great also in driving disciplines. Mojito hasn't been jumped much due to our family's focus on dressage. In Jumping sticky at first seems to enjoy once gets started. We have jumped only 40/50cm. Ideal to go hacking, is traffic safe and used to farm machines, trotting horses, dogs…. Mojito has never done anything bad or mischief that as a mother I would have been scared. He is sensitive pony as this type of ponies should be and might react to a ride he thinks is wrong by stopping or giving a little kick. (He is a pony so he thinks he is very smart). Works very well in lunging, and listens well verbal asks.
Friendly and wise fellow who always comes to meet his people, usually running, and greets both human and horse friends as loudly as possible. He is a lovely good-natured pony who brings smiles to our faces every day. He loves his food, and might grow his belly during holiday/pasture season. No stablewises, he travels with ease and behaves with impeccable manners at training and competiton venues. Playful and sociable with the horses next fence. Clearly also lived in a herd, we see that he does not like to share his food. With us he lives in a studio where goes out and in at his free will next to other horses.
We brought Mojito from Holland to Finland 3,5 years ago, from his breeder, before coming to us he had been trained professionally, trained and went to shows on b/l level. Since then he has been our daughter’s precious and training partner. They have trained dressage since and grown together to B level,
competed in small classes, the season 2024-2025 they trained in Finnish Equestrian Federartion regional training ring.
Our daughter ( 12 years old) has now unfortunately grown too big for Mojito. Mojito would make a lovely childrens pony as family pony, or competiton pony and with right rider can go far in dressage.
