This is Sid, he is an ex racehorse from Ireland who has been started 11 times in racing he has been retired from racing for 4 years now where I've been working to turn him into a jumping horse which is his favourite thing to do. He has jumped up to a meter with me ridden and up to 1m30 loose jumping so he can definitely go higher ridden with the correct rider. He takes you to a jump nicely if youre confident and can give him confidence. This is not a first horse since he can be a bit hot tempered especially in winter and be can be very anxious and nervous and potentially have a few spooks. Would be ideal for someone who is confident in handling and riding and can bring him further along in his training. Would recommend someone over 18. He is 8 years old and in Ireland did hurdles of 1m07. He would also do best with a rider who is confident enough to be able to tell him off without becoming nervous. He takes a bit of time to load onto a trailer because of his fear of tight spaces from back when he raced in start boxes but will eventually get on a trailer after some time trying to get him on correctly. He also has a habit of some rearing when bringing him in from the field only during winter, in summer when its warmer all of his "behavioral issues" go away.
